CAST Academy Cup

The 'CAST Academy Cup' is awarded each year to the young member who has exhibited a significant element of personal achievement during the preceding 12 months.

At the 2008 AGM on Thursday 31st July 2008, the cup was presented to Ryan Thompson.

The cup has previously been awarded as follows;

Rebecca Wharton & Lucy Cutts

In 2009 the award was shared between Rebecca and Lucy, both of whom showed a great degree of effort and improvement over the previous 12 months.

 2008

Ryan Thompson

Ryan joined CAST Academy in 2007 for Movies! He has been a familiar face at set builds and won praise from NODA for his portrayal of "CAT" in Honk! in February 2008. He recently also understudied a role in Back to the 80's, performing on the final day.

Gemma Hathrell

Gemma joined CAST Academy in January 2007 for Movies! and has not only performed confidently on stage but also helped with costumes and set building as well

 2006

 Natalie Emery

Natalie has been involved with CAST since Aladdin in 2002. During 2006 Natalie contributed to choreographing panto, as well as taking on the role of principal girl, Mary-Rose in Treasure Island, a role she played (and sang) with great maturity.

 Donna Othen

Donna has been involved with CAST since 2002, but in the last year has shown huge progress in her personal confidence and performance skills, culminating in her first ever solo singing performance during Moby Dick the Musical.
